Training objectives for the Computer Networks and Data Communication major.


General Objectives:

This program aims to develop a high-quality workforce at the University level in the field of Network and Data Communications. The program's purpose is to provide learners with fundamental knowledge and essential professional skills in Information Technology in general, with a specialized focus on data transmission within computer networks and communication environments.

Furthermore, the program emphasizes comprehensive development in both personality and professional ethics to meet the socio-economic demands of the country. It aims to successfully build the data communications industry in Vietnam, contributing to the advancement of the national digital economy and digital society in the near future.

Specific Objectives:

  • M1: To possess strong moral character, political qualities, and good health to meet the labor requirements of the national industrialization and modernization process.

  • M2: To master the essential knowledge and skills of a data communications specialist; to have a firm grasp of theory and the ability to effectively execute the steps involved in deploying, operating, and administering network systems.

  • M3: To be equipped with fundamental knowledge of Computer Science and IT, enabling transition to other IT specializations and the pursuit of higher levels of education (Master’s or Doctoral degrees).

  • M4: To possess the ability to adapt to the rapid changes in Information Technology, the capacity for self-study in the workplace, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

  • M5: To foster self-confidence, dynamic thinking, effective communication skills, the ability to work independently, and the capacity to integrate and collaborate in team environments and international integration settings.
