Analysis of the data is carried out using appropriately selected tools as in the control plan. Control charts as described previously are very useful, and can be developed from the appropriate data for each project to an alyze target processes. A baseline, and acceptable levels for process per formance in terms of the measurements collected, should result for each project (upper and lower control limits). Other useful information for process control can be derived from plots, Pareto, and scatter diagrams that are prepared from the project data.
